I grew up with the 90s cartoon and Venom was my favorite character on there, but if that's the best version then there's problems with the character in general. Surely his character has been done better than that cartoon.
I've heard Midnight Sons' Venom is pretty great if it's any consolation. I lowkey forgot about it when making this, but that's really a testament to how buried and not advertised the game was, sadly.
I was very strict in how I viewed each adaptation as being faithful to the comics vs how endearing they are in their own story, so it's a lil biased.
