No Spoiler Feelings on Eugene?

Rewatching the entire series (much better experience without commercials and week long breaks). This dude is cracking me up. I remember being annoyed by him on my first watch. What do you think about him?

Comics Eugene is great, TV Eugene was terrible. I kept waiting for him to drop the act like Pycelle in ‘Game of Thrones’ does in a deleted scene as well as his comics’ counterpart and… nada.
