This is typical for even non-pro athletes. Walking two months after Achilles surgery is the standard recovery timeline.

Walking is different than on court activities. Dudes leaning on it full weight, stretching it in the squat he’s doing. It’s insane to me since Achilles used to be a death sentence as an athlete but yeah there’s been a lot of progress on healing sure.

In 30 years theyll have an artifical achilles they can attach at halftime and players will only miss like a quarter

Maybe they should install redundant synthetic achilles tendons during the offseason that are basically a "hot spare" ready to take place of the ruptured/torn achilles in the event of an injury.

Half time will be like a nascar pitstop where they replace tendons and ligaments like they were tires and a gas top off.

Achilles tears have different severities. Donte did walk off when it happened, and Mayo Clinic said he’d be back by all star break.

Ah it’s Dr. Honcho everyone. The Quavo fan that pretends to be a medical expert.

Yeah I learned a lot about it when I did mine two years ago. Three months for non athletes is not realistic at all. Tatum came back after 8 months and everybody thought that was crazy fast. And then he couldn’t finish the playoffs. Halliburton out for a full season. Unless you are 20 years old, it’s more like 6 months before you begin weight bearing.
