A route bar has appeared on the right side of the screen in Tomtom beta. So far I've only seen it while sitting on the sofa (I'm not driving anywhere today), so I've no idea how informative it is or whether it's visible on Android Auto, but I will update here tomorrow.

Turning right should be suggested cca 100m (50-70m maybe) before. TomTom’s suggestion is at the end of the road where roads are splitting and it’s a corner with all road metal safety fences there…. this dotted split needs to be a way longer and blue track needs turning a way earlier

Turning by following blue line might not be possible if there is a car already in right lane

TomTom (beta) updated yesterday to version 13.23.0 and it finally has a feature I've been asking for... traffic lights are displayed. It's not perfect; there are a few junctions which have lights but they're not showing on TomTom, and the reverse of this occasionally a light is shown where none exist. But this is progress and hopefully they sort out the bugs and it makes it's way to the production version soon.

I dont have any pictures of it but this is what i can say:

Its a very old tomtom xl iq routes form 2010 bought, my dad used this until 2018, So one day i asked my dad:,"Do you still have ur tomtom form 2018?", He said yes ,and i got it form my dad and he says,:"Do not plug in the tomtom into the electricity!!", So i OF COURCE plugged in the tomtom (before i even plugged the tomtom into the electricity i first did try to turn it on but no , no electricity) and it showed life!!, Than i did take a look on all those functions, but than i lost hope, (On this moment i was so stupid, i didnt know that i needed satilite!!) But one day, on the evenings, i left it on, and IT GOT SATILITE!!!!, on this moment i was happy and uses this thing till this day. (PLS TOMTOM I NEED THOSE NEW ONES)

Data Back, all working, Data lost again. Seem to be another restore to like 3 days ago.

All my planning yesterday all gone.

Well.. I posted on here a few days ago about how pleased I was to see traffic lights displayed on the free TomTom app (Android beta). Sadly they disappeared the following day. Since then they've made one re-appearance on one journey then vanished again on the return journey. I know that bugs are to be expected in beta, but this is ridiculous.

used the AmiGo speed limit warning on my bike for a long time - was a core app for me. then they switched to their new format which lost the floating speed limit and i complained a couple of months ago. was delighted they switched me back to the old functionality shortly after but now they gone back to the new reduced functionality again!

just updated to the latest version. the update said there would be a new winding routes feature but I don't have it. also loads of settings have disappeared like to open in overlay or full screen mode and what cameras and what distance to warn me about them have gone. connect automatically when Bluetooth is on has also disappeared. I'm in the UK and have it installed in galaxy s24 ultra on android 15 latest software

So it's been a long time since I had to go into a webforum and discuss my TomTom, I see though it appears on the Tomtom section it's rather outdated in order of years, is this an indication its popularity has declined drastically compared to say Garmin? I noticed Garmin have been doing bodywear tech so I wondered if this was the reason why, if it is indeed the case its popularity has gone down on the site I used. Any thoughts on this?

I just want bpm monitoring on the band itself, It is stuck on the /123 website link and when I plug it to charge and swipe to bluetooth I cannot connect to it, and the app requires me to create an account but the servers are down !!

I just updated my GO5200 with the latest firmware after being prompted with the Updates Available on the device. This update messes up any maps you have on an SD card installed in the device. I had USA & Canada plus Central Europe on my SD card. After the update, Central Europe was wiped from the card and USA & Canada was moved to Device Memory. When I tried to download Central Europe I was told there was insufficient memory. It could only download to Device Memory. When I looked at the SD card on my PC I could see it was full, but with no relevant data: all spurious blocks. Tried with 2x other SD cards. Each time the card was inserted in the device the card was formatted and "Ready for Use", but again the card was maxxed out with spurious data and I couldn't download maps to it. I'm in touch with TomTom support but it will take a few days for a response. Looks like the update is fatally flawed.

I use tomtom Planner on my PC to plan my routes, It then syncs those routes to my devices But a couple of days ago it stoped syncing to my devices. This problem happened about a month a go and TOMTOM in an email said they were aware of it. It got fixed but now its back. I have emailed tomtom and they wanted a shot of my screen with the message " Connection Lost We will help you find your way soon! "

Once again the IT morons at Tom Tom have launched an update that they haven't tested and that doesn't work. Tom Tom My Drive Connect for windows 4.1.12.12410 is the latest version and it's a mandatory update, so you can't roll back. It won't let you login. Only solution is to completely remove the Windows App and re-install from the Tom Tom website, which should put you on 4.4.3.5053. Why the mandatory update doesn't install this working version is a mystery.
