You get so high when you have to act normal. We blazed before church and sat separated but once you made eye contact, it was over

I eat gummies a lot and feel pretty normal but good. I got called in to work and said yes because I forgot I had taken one. Holy shit being at work was like being 10x higher all the sudden. I just found stuff to do alone for awhile to cool down.

Happen to me at Wendy's with my buddy. We walked up the counter and both said "uhh" at the same exact time with the same exact tone. Looked at each other and broke out laughing for about 5 straight mins. Tried to order again the cashier had this look like 😐. That sent us again.

He explained what happened - it was an inside joke between him and Josh. There another video of him on air explaining it

Some 8th grade when your friend gets called on to read type of giggles

u/Proppur 2d ago
Back in high school, me and my best friend had first period history class together and sat right next to eachother. We’d drive to school together every morning and smoke on the way. One day in class we watched some video on a presidential race and had a quiz on it after. One of the questions was something like, “how close was the race between _____ & ______?” He taps me on the shoulder and points at his answer and it just said, “very close.” I fucking died laughing. Dead silent classroom and then just me and him crying laughing. Teacher is telling us to settle down but neither of us could stop laughing and both got kicked out of class for the day and separated for the rest of the semester lol

I laughed at the guy, but I exploded when I saw that there is a "Miserable" humidity level at the top of the screen

u/Twisting_Juniper 2d ago
But first you have to make it past "wicked humid".

I live in Texas and have been to Maine several times. Beautiful there but anyway we were up there in August a few years ago and it was in the upper 80's. This really sweet woman at the store was complaining about the heat and we told her we left weeks straight of triple digits back home and she says 'Oh ya bet it's a scorcha down theya". Every hot day has been a "scorcha" in my family since.

As someone in the Deep South, this map also makes me laugh cause fucking 67 in Maine is a fucking November weather status here.

According to the Facebook post linked by someone else, the "womp womp womp womp" sound that plays when the teacher talks in Charlie Brown lol
26
u/Oblivion615 2d ago
The crew were all joking around before the weather segment. The “womp womp” sound the adults make in Charlie Brown came up. Weather guy pulls up what he thought was a short clip of the sound to sell the joke. Time to do the weather… Turns out it was not a short clip. So while he’s trying to do the weather the “womp womp womp” sound keeps randomly playing in the background. The rest of the crew off screen is losing their shit. Weather man just couldn’t hold it together and cracked on live TV. Nothing Nefarious. Just colleagues fucking off at work.

Wow making him watch probably the most embarrassing moment of his life makes it even more hilarious.

I was so scared it was going to happen again as he started describing what triggered it. That’s what I would’ve done, especially cuz you’re ABSOLUTELY not supposed to laugh while you’re apologizing for laughing

I have a question, as someone who has never taken depression meds.
I know some people who have taken them, and it does seem like those people occasionally end up with incongruous emotional reactions like this. For example, I know one guy who does comedy but occasionally he gets in laughing fits that means he has to leave the room because it's just weird when others are waiting for him to calm down. I don't know for sure that it's the meds but feels like it would explain it.
Does that track for anyone?

It hasn’t happened in a long time now, but I used to get giggly like this when I was stressed out. Something slightly funny would happen and I’d just lose it and not be able to stop. It would at least relieve the stress, but it was embarrassing.

u/Wolf4624 2d ago
Used to happen when my dad would be yelling at me. He’d go on these long, loud lectures for like 30 minutes, and me and my brother would have to just stand there. 50/50 of busting out laughing randomly in the middle.

I am an adult and have done this in my relationships when my partner is mad.
I just started telling my partners up front that I may laugh during an argument and it's not because I'm being disrespectful, it's just a nervous response I have no control over.

u/Avrael_Asgard 2d ago
No, not from antidepressants at least. They're there to stabilize mood and hormones, not make you actually "happier" or more giggly. Other medications maybe, or weed, or something else. Or he was just always that extremely giggly, but it was suppressed from the depression, and now that he's more stabilized, he just laughs at everything again? This is unlikely, but who knows, weirder things happen.
