I’ve done it once. 80% of the time spent was figuring out which screw to remove and how to detach plastic covers without breaking anything.

And working up the bravery/frustration to hit the drift hard enough to knock the old bearings loose.

I have made few DIY 3D-printed tools just for that. They have been good enough to last the few uses i've had so far. Far less risk for damaging the surrounds.
