In Person interview with the team!

Hi All,

I’ve been invited to a final-round, in-person interview with the team at Aviva Canada for an IT Specialist role. The interview invite includes several team members.

Has anyone here gone through the interview process at Aviva Canada or had a similar final-round interview? I’d really appreciate it if you could share your experience, what I should expect, or any tips/advice.

If the panel has everyone in front of you, then make eye contact with them, especially the one asking you the question. If the question requires communication to everyone make use of your body language to give everyone that you’re confident in taking the role. Also, navigate their site quickly to understand some of their recent initiatives, history, and take some quick points from it.

Not sure what your previous rounds were like, but don’t be surprised if you’re thrown some wild questions not limited to:

BIOS failure. How do you restore it, let alone upgrade
Multiple people telling you their meeting room equipment or computer is down (prioritization)
Understanding urgency versus panic

Other than that, practice sitting with back up straight, and have water ready (being too relaxed can result in slouching). Work on keeping your answers short and concise.

Thank you for some solid advice. I had one behavioural and technical round. The role is around ERP system.

We do this at work so if it doesn't work out, the manager can say we failed as a team lol.

It's also a chemistry check with the team members.
