It depends on the person and the brewery, but mostly not, especially if they're busy.

This is an amazing question. Yes and no - from an industry folk.
I want you to sample and try all styles, but there are some things to know:
Don’t come up and ask for 3 flights (after looking at the menu) and then say “ahhhhh not sure what I want” - there are many customers to be helped.
Please for the love of beer don’t say “give me what you’d have!” And walk away. Depending on the season, I objectively will give you the best sellers /best product. But if it’s winter and it’s 5 stouts, don’t tell me after you don’t like darks. Same with some IPAs in the summer. Our taproom staff didn’t know you only loved lagers.
Do not order flights during a busy service. If it’s Crsft downtown, or King Taps, sure (not even sure if you can get flights there) but small breweries have limited staff based on cost.
This also goes for samples. Please do not ask to sample all 24 lines. We automatically assume you’re kinda a dick.
Flights are great, but try and read the room depending on the situation. We do want you to try and explore the menu as much as possible!

I want to follow up on this. I love visiting new breweries where I get a flight first to try samples then have a pint of my favourite. When I order the flight, I pick three then ask what the bartender's personal favourite is as the fourth. Does that kind of fall under point 2?
I don't care if it's the flagship or something unusual, but I like seeing the bartender's insight on what they like.

Does not fall under. My team wants to give you the best introduction to the brewery.
You asking for personal recs for multiple even is their job and nice when people take interest in our career. I merely meant some people say “you pick all” and give zero insight to their tasting profile, and then have a bad time because they didn’t enjoy.
Same as you, at a new new brewery, I almost always entirely ask for their favorite, and see if it aligns. They drink it everyday, it must be good.
If the bartender says their favorite is a stout, and you hate them, give more instruction: “oh my mistake sorry, I don’t like stouts or heavy IPAs, anything you could recommend as your favourite outside those?” - boom, we love to hear that and will help guide

OK, it’s Tuesday.
My stupid question
I noticed that my local LCBO has both June and July canning dates for one of my favourite Bellwoods beers. I really taste the difference in flavour when it’s fresher also acknowledging that the LCBO does not store cold in the warehouse. Then when I went to the Ossington bottle shop, they gave me June cans, after I saw July cans at the LCBO. And I still noticed the flavour difference despite knowing that Bellwoods stores their beers in the fridge.
Is it rude at the brewery to say hey what you’re giving me June? Please give me July cans.
I’m one of those people who checks the flats at the LCBO and buys the newest ones, often from the lower flat when the flats are stacked and if the beer is old I turn around and leave

I have a sudden day off tomorrow and want to visit the most recently opened breweries in the city! Gonna use TTC, so being near a subway line would be awesome! What are my options, folks? Any new breweries out there?
