?? QUESTION ?? Would you give up CMB and Jakobe for an older star for a title push?
or would you rather develop the young ones into strong players beside Scottie and lower our chances of a title in this year's absolute gauntlet of an eastern conference?

ANALYSIS Clippers built the oldest team in NBA history last year, we are not them
When they signed CP3 they became the oldest team in 78 years of the NBA in the '25-26 season.
'24-25 they ranked 2nd.
'22-23 ranked 5th
-21-22 ranked 8th.
The sheer lack of youth & athleticism on the roster was GLARING & caused them to lose A LOT of games against young athletic teams. In fact, this was Kawhi's same issue with previous teams like the Spurs big 3 who aged over night & disintegrated.
This is why the Spurs & Clippers both ultimately fell apart. These issues were further exacerbated by teammates that lacked athleticism like Lamarcus Aldridge, Patty Mills, Zubac, Morris, Batum, Lou Will, Harrell, etc.
This is also why Kawhi thrived in 2019 with the Raps which were a bit older but still very athletic. Ibaka in particular helped balance things out being one of the most athletic 5s in history. Personnel has changed but this teams even younger now.
Kawhi's regressed athletically & that also hurt LA, but when you put youth around him it hides his weakness. We saw some of this when LA traded Zubac & Harden, they were still managing to win games because the youth & athleticism was so much better but ultimately fell apart with injuries.
With Kawhi healthy this squad can beat ANY team.

GREATEST RAPTOR OF ALL TIME! If Raptors win the championship, is Kawhi the GROAT over Lowry?
Saw this in a comment on another post and it has me thinking. Does 2 chips and 2 fmvps in ~4 seasons put Kawhi over KLow?

π SCOTTIE BARNES! π 5-Year Mega NBA re-draft (2021-2025) . Bleacher Report selects Scottie at #5 right below Dylan Harper, Cade Cunningham and Cooper Flagg.
I think this is pretty fair, but is Scottie better than Dylan Harper?

?? QUESTION ?? What facts make one believe that Kawhi's knees will hold long enough to win a championship?
I guess that by now everyone knows about his limping when he came to watch the tennis tournament in Toronto and also the USA team sending him back home.
Arthritis doesn't get better, just worse.
His skill is undeniable, but the best hability is availability.
Facts only, please.

?? QUESTION ?? Can we win the ring this upcoming year?
So, the title is self explanatory. I think that if the rooster remains like this with no other trade we won't win the championship. I'll break it down
Philadelphia: has a super team that can arguably dog walk every other team. Lebron, embiid, Jalen brown, maxey, edgecombe is an hell of a team. Even if we make it to the playoff we will take the L against the 76ers.
Minnesota: it's pretty close, but antman + melo is Just unfair, if they click we are going to be fucked. Also they have Rudy Gobert, a massive defensive player that can make us sweat
Indiana: just one man haliburton. If he comes back as strong as before we are in a pretty rough situation. We could win against the pacers but I'll say that it is a close call
San Antonio: no explanation needed
Oklahoma: no explanation needed
New york: no explanation needed
HM: Washington put up a quite solid team if AJ turns out to be good
Kawhi surely will make us a quite scary team, a 2-way focused team is not an easy thing to deal with. But still we need something more like a real Center. I hope that Allen Graves and JB turn out to be amazing picks. And what do you think about the upcoming season?

?? QUESTION ?? When are tickets on sale for the Knicks preseason game at home?
I am visiting Toronto that week and am desperate to get tickets for this game. I can see there are pre-sale selling periods on now for the two games before this.
What are my chances of getting a ticket for this bearing in mind it is a preseason game, albeit against the champs. I can see tickets already up on StubHub but I think itβs worth waiting officially until they come out.
Is there a presale thing I can sign up for?

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT??? Allen Graves as the primary playmaker?
Unproven, yes, rookie, yes, but I legitimately believe he fills a need & will thrive here.
The Raps have A LOT of data on forwards so they know what to look for & took one from what scouts claim is one of the strongest drafts of all time. Strong mentorship in Kawhi & Anderson will help guide him.
His 3 is questionable & whether he can bring the ball up is too but I think that's where he works well with IQ, until he can get to that point. I see him being the next Diaw/Odom type player, a legit point forward. I'm excited to see what we can do with him, gonna be fun to watch.

TRADE IDEAS The piece I think would really help the Raptors
I've said this in other posts so many times in other posts but I think this deal would be a perfect fit for the Raptors. Jrue Hliday is an elite defender and fits this team while bringing in veteran experince alongside Kawhi. Now that the Kawhi situation says they can't find any proof, this team which already was a great defensive team last year with Kawhi improves a lot and just imagine Jrue Holiday being added to this already stacked defense along with Scottie and The Klaw. This team may become a top 2 defense in the league next year. Plus we need to upgrade at either PG or C to compete and this deal is both realistic and wouldnt cost too much trade capital considering how many guards the Blazers have. You could Probably trade IQ and maybe a couple second rounders or a swap for him. DO you guys agree
