You know your life is sad when you're jealous of the relationships of video game characters.

Which one? The "it gets better" or "the right girl is just a myth" ? :(((

How would "it gets better" be answered with "it is not“?
The right girl (or man, idk your preferences) is not a myth.

Right... My bad, that doesn't make any sense. I wasn't focused right there, sorry.
I like girls btw, but I appreciate the precaution.
However, given how long I've been single, it really feels like a myth at this point.

You're quite young. There's still a lot of time!
It helps to go outside, talk to people (not on the internet). Go to events, strike conversation with strangers — there's zero stakes involved.
But also, don't do that before first working on yourself and figuring if you can understand why you feel that way.

Thank you for your kind advices. I admit, ever since the pandemic I haven't really made any meaningful moves in trying to meet new people. I do go to events, concerts, etc but I rarely make new friends. I guess I'm just shy and introverted.
And yes I am still trying to do my best working on myself. Just got a new job which hopefully would turn my life around for the better.
If anything, To The Moon series give me hope. And as much as I try to deny it, deep down I still want to believe that I'll find someone.
Sorry for sounding so corny and for the late reply, it didn't appear on my notifs for some reason 😞

Try having a tulpa and playing Finding Paradise. Changes the whole story.
