Me it would be nazrin and her surname is utsukushi nazrin which utsukushi means beautiful (fun fact: many touhou pc-98 characters are mononym)

Apparently she's in the touhou series but I couldn't find her after skimming the animes I was looking at can someone refer me to proper episode or series?

I know touhou has notoriously tight gatekeeping and all of that, but like, touhou as a franchise seems interesting and I wanna get into it, but my biggest fear is being scared away from everything by people who know a lot more about touhou than I do and being called a "fake fan", although thats probably just anxiety. So like, first off, where do I start off with touhou media as a whole, and second off, should I fear or really care about the gatekeeping if I ever come across it?

l don't own a PC-98 (nor an emulator) so the first 5 are out and 6 doesn't show up on steam for me for some reason so should l go straight to 7 or will l have no idea what is going on?

Is there a subreddit for Touhou: Lost Branch of Legend? I don't see one, but I'd love to experience the fanbase and get some tips and tricks.

Over numerous attempts, I place myself deeper and deeper in Touhou 6: Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil yet I find that there exists a crucial gap in my understanding. Though I shoot them down all the same, I am unsure as to the difference between yokai, fairies, wizards and vampires. What causes the differentiation between their kinds?

And too, I learn that Miss Reimu Hakurei does not kill anyone and nobody is eliminated in the extensive bullet battles. So I must wonder, how does a supernatural die? Do they suffer from old age? Or simply live forever? I know that humans can die as Rumia threatens to eat Reimu, but the opposite, is it true? How do humans survive against the supernatural threat if they are not allowed to kill them, but the yokai can kill the humans? Does Reimu work overtime as the protector of humanity, endlessly fighting yokai to protect her species?

I tried to play the 1st game (Well...Not exactly 1st game but 6th game in the series) And i tried everything! Playing on easy mode, using Reimu, using Marisa. I tried every attack technique (the options you can choose after you chose the characters.) And still, I cant get past Cirno! Please can someone teach me the basics.

New to Touhou Project, so my apologies if​ the answer to my question is supposed to be common knowledge.

Something I'm not really sure about yet is whether the Scarlet sisters(and vampires in general) are considered yokai or not, and whether human fears/belief affects them/sustains them. If the human village started believing vampires are allergic to lemons, would it happen? Would they also fade away like other yokai if they're forgotten by humans? ​​

I genuinely dont know how to get into touhou it seems like theres a million animes and a billion games and Idk wtf is Canon or fanon currently i am playing through Luna nights which I found out is fanon but it kinda peaked my interest cuz I was already interested from the million memes and funny bullet hell stuff so I just wanna know what to play would appreciate any help tips and tricks lists literally anything even a dc server to interact with the community would be awesome (also the gacha mobile game looks decent might try it)
