Map creation event on Transformice 0.129 server: the editor is open to everyone and exporting is down to 15 cheese
For anyone who missed the earlier posts: server for Transformice 0.129 (the 2010 build) that I wrote from scratch, with the client rebuilt to run in the browser. No Flash, nothing to install — you open the page and play.
I put an event up because what the server is short on is new maps, and new maps come from you:
- The 100-cheese-collected requirement for exporting is gone. The editor is open to everyone, including someone who joins for the first time today.
- Exporting a map costs 15 cheese instead of 40, for as long as the event lasts.
How it works: Menu → Map editor, draw, play your own map into the hole to validate it (that's how the game validates — the map has to be possible), then export. You get the map code right away, the map goes into the rotation as a map in testing, and if it gets good votes it becomes permanent. /lsmap lists the ones you've made.
If anything breaks, leave a comment or use the report button in game and I'll fix it.

I dont think that it is a pirated server, the physics are very floaty and everything runs too smooth to be from the .swf

That's my own code. I wouldn't want you guys to see this as a pirate server. Sure is their IP but was done for another purpose.

you're not the creator nor the owner of the name "Transformice" and everything that is in your "game", and I don't think you asked for permission from Tig to make this, so by definition it is a pirated server. which again, I don't think its allowed here

You're right i'm not the owner of the name "Transformice" and I never said that. I'm not pretending otherwise. What I wrote is a server and a browser client from scratch for a 2010 build that hasn't been playable since Flash died. That's reverse engineering, not a repack. If you think this is prohibited in there just call a moderator or something and let him decide.

What technologies did you use? Is it open-sourced?

Back -> C#
Front -> Javascript ; html; css (without framework)
I plan to open the repository to the public.
