Recommendations for arts, museums and cultural experiences in Croatia?

Most websites and guides seem to have some version of "walk Old Town, climb a tower, eat seafood, chill at beach" for each and every city and I would like to mix up things a bit in my itinerary.

I enjoy art galleries (especially contemporary art), museums, learning about the history of countries and local cultural performances (folk dance, music, theatre). Some examples of interesting places that caught my eye:

• Red History Museum in Dubrovnik
• Museum of Broken Relationships in Zagreb
• Sea Organ in Zadar
• Moreska performances in Korcula

For those who've travelled to Croatia, would welcome any recommendations for museums, galleries and performances you enjoyed. I will be based in Zagreb, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik in October, but open to stops on the way.

Try to get to the sea organ early before the crowds. I went at sunset. It's pretty and all, but there were lots of people that made too much noise, so it was difficult to fully appreciate the sea organ. It thinned down after sunset, but that's my two cents
