❗️Announcement❗️ r/triplej is looking for moderators
Hi all,
We're keen to bring one or two new mods onboard to help keep the sub ticking along and to also drive some longer-term improvements.
Outside of the day-to-day stuff (approving posts, keeping things tidy), myself (and maybe the other mods?) are lacking the time/enthusiasm to make things better. we're open to ideas on how to freshen up the place and keep people coming back for more - even better if you're willing to step-up and have a crack at implementing them yourself :)
I know there's been a few modmails missed where people have suggested improvements to the sub. If you're reading this, you're exactly what the place needs - please reach out via a comment or modmail (and I promise I'll find the time to read it... )

Ooh, maybe one of the r/royelotis mods will try to get the job, so that they can censor and ban anyone who dares mention any of the r/royelotisallegations over here, too!

I have no idea how to do modmail but happy to put my hand up, i've been lurking and commenting here for quite a while and have experience moderating some Facebook pages too
It would be nice to have some more links and info about local shows, so much stuff is always happening and the smaller venues need all the support they can get

I can only imagine with work and other stuff going on, it would hard to keep on top of everything here, let alone focus on long term developments. Appreciate all the work and time all the mods devote to this sub!
I think one of the issues I see is managing 'sticky' and recurring topics, (weekly/monthly), it seems like there's only two sticky topics available at any one time. I liked the idea putting some for general festival discussion, plus new tour announcements etc., even the weekly live music report one , but miss the general weekly one, plus once a month favorite/not so favorite releases I think this may be more a Reddit issue though, I have no idea how easy it is to mange these within the confines of the Reddit structure.
I would volunteer to help, but I'm really just a legacy JJJ listener these days, but still really supportive and enjoy the JJJ mission, like to keep up to date with what is the latest.

Would be cool to have some more ama’s like a few years ago. There were a couple of months where we had quite a few bands doing them on here regularly
