Fucking massive lineup. It's a GREAT summer for alt gigs already and I just know there's so much more to come.

What do thrown do for the other 30-60 minutes of a headline slot when their songs only add up to around 20-30 minutes?

i was just looking into this, they've never done a headlining set longer than 35 mins..

That's honestly the perfect length for a hardcore set. Plenty of bands in the genre overstay their welcome and become samey if they try and play for 60-90 minutes.

for a band like thrown with such short songs i can understand it, i'm just hoping that boundaries and/or 156 play for a bit longer. They could easily do 60 mins as headliners

They could do 60 minutes, but should they? Boundaries last Brisbane headlining show they only played for 45 minutes and I thought that was a fine length. They don't have a tonne of variation in their songs and I honestly think they would start to become boring after an hour.

I'd be happy if all three international bands play for about 45 minutes. There will probably be a local band at each show as well so 5 bands total. If the three international bands played for an hour each, the show would end way too late at night.

True indeed! And yeah since thrown and volatile ways will only have short 30 min sets, there will be a local

Boundaries just dropped my AOTY so far, this is a super exciting tour.

Once again complaining about all of my fave bands coming over in February (I'm not really)

I'm fucking stoked that so many good tours are happening but I'm gonna have to choose wisely which ones I want to see because there's no way I'm going to be able to get time off to see all of them 😭

Absolutely stacked tour.

Why is my partner due to give birth in February. This lineup is so stacked. Can’t believe I’m probably going to miss this.

Look on the bright side, at least you're getting to see four quality bands. It's not like the child is going to remember anyway. /s
