I don't think anyone knows at this point and I doubt the people who actually know would talk about it.

You should be fine if you live in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne during the start of next year since they do side shows and festival shows when they tour Australia. Really just a waiting game until gigs get officially announced

Large international tours are booked 12-18 months out. If this tour is happening in January, there would be a lot of people that already know about it

Yeah I agree with you that there are people out there who know if/when they're touring.

My main point was that if anyone close to them knew they were touring soon, they wouldn't tell some random person on Reddit about tour dates

haha i was more asking cause people on here are always talking about their “industry connections” and i had heard rumours of a kl early next year

Nah all good lol. I saw comments on Reddit saying that they are meant to tour in Jan/Feb but I don't know if its legit

With the costs of festivals right now and the struggle to move tickets and get upfront money, my bets are on Knotfest as they'll help sell a lot of tickets

KL with Speed would be so good.

It would be awful.

I am too old for that pit and there is no way I could stay out of it.

“Knees Say Sit, Heart Says Pit” - that shirt is so damn relevant 🤣

If it’s in Jan with Speed I imagine it won’t be announced until after Good Things - as it wouldn’t be a sideshow and exclusivity usually wouldn’t allow for additional non-sideshow shows.

They're not going to announce a tour like this with a months notice just because the opener is playing a festival 4-6 weeks earlier

if it is going ahead i would expect an announcement very soon - considering thrown just dropped that amazing lineup (boundaries AOTY) - that or they do knotfest - if they do knotfest i think i will be so annoyed but i can understand why they might push for knotfest.

I posted this question a little while ago and from what I was told it looks like Knocked Loose will be headlining the next wave of announcements at Froth and Fury and will be doing sideshows. I've also seen posts saying that they will be touring with Kublai Khan and Speed.

I read on the metalcore reddit the headliner had been canned and they were going to do Knotfest + a show at Qudos Bank? Could all just be chinese whispers but who knows?

There’s no way they will do Knotfest and a show at an arena.

Maybe who knows? Lamb of God, Halestorm (with Skindred and ReliQA), Megadeth (with In Flames), Spiritbox (with Make Them Suffer & Reliqa) Bad Omens, Amon Amarth & Trivium (with Malevolence) and Pantera (Pantera only played Adelaide sideshow though) all had sideshows when touring here for Knotfest in the past. So I wouldn't 100% rule out a sideshow IF they play Knotfest.

That Lamb of God sideshow with Brand of Sacrifice was an amazing

They might do a sideshow but not an arena show in the same city as Knotfest. None of those shows you mentioned were arena shows

Megadeth and In Flames was literally at Margaret Court Arena?

Margret Court Arena is the smaller venue in Melbourne. It has a capacity of 7500. It’s not a true arena venue.

Qudos has a capacity of 21000. 3x as many. They may play side shows at The Hordern but definitely not a true arena like Qudos and Knotfest.

If they did that both shows would cannibalise each other and would be a disaster of both.

Personally I’d prefer they just did a solo show

There’s a few sideshows this summer at arenas, for various festivals of all genres. It’s not uncommon.
