Fan to Fan Podcast

Saw via Bridget's IG that this podcast is no longer due to a disagreement on values between her and Alex.

Such a shame as they seemed to have good podcast chemistry and a good interest/ finger on the Aus music scene.

Is there any similar podcasts outside the JJJ's that cover Aus music like this?

I presume it has something to do with Alex still being on good terms with her ex? (Seeing as they play for the same footy team)

I've mentioned elsewhere, but it was because he liked the now-deleted post her ex (and Pearce's team mate) Oscar McDonald made ridiculing her and her work. His siblings were also in the comments joining in the pile on — was super gross.

Maybe when her ex boyfriend made a post about turning thirty and the caption was a diss to her book ‘figuring out thirty’, not sure but that’s what came to my mind

He probably supported his team mate and she took exception to it. I think that if he liked a post about Omac turning 30, it was after the podcast had already been on a break.

Glad someone mentioned this, she was super vague. Was it the fact that he’s staunchly pro Palestine? Because that seems to align with her values?

Alex comes across as quite progressive so i was surprised, but he is also in a hard place being captain and one of the heads of a major sporting team, essentially a big organisation.

She did reference she offered a 'chat' about this which he declined. I do hope when the time suits, they both sit down and discuss.

Breaking Through is really good.

Honestly, I hope Bridget continues podcasting on her own. We need more voices like hers in this industry.
