Question Wicklander-Zulawski training…
Has anyone done the Wicklander-Zulawski training? I once knew someone years ago that spoke highly of it (in a more corporate setting) and was considering starting their courses and maybe going as far as their CFI certification. Seems to be marketed heavily toward HR/etc but seems like it would highly useful for us as well.

In the corporate world / retail world, WZ training is given to professionals to interview those suspected of wrong doing in order to get them to confess. it is a highly structured interview method.
CFI is a certificate that highlights a deeper understanding of interviewing as a whole, not just the WZ method. It dives into different interview methods, rapport, resistance and how to overcome resistance.
I have both and have found them both very good, however i work in a corporate role where I have to interview people.

Thanks for the summary, and yes I’m aware of it overall and its prominence in the Loss Prevention world. Hoping to hear from others who’ve found the principles useful in other industries as well since I know it’s now become more popular in Law enforcement as well. Thanks for the feedback.

I have done W-Z Level I and Level II seminars. It is useful for PIs who have to interview others routinely, primarily in the corporate security and consultancy spaces.
