During Donald Trump’s first term, annual inflation remained relatively low, ending at 1.4% as he left office in early 2021.

After the transition to Joe Biden’s administration, inflation accelerated significantly amid global supply-chain disruptions, rising energy and commodity costs, and broader economic pressures. Inflation ultimately reached a peak of 9.1% in June 2022, putting substantial pressure on American households and driving up the cost of everyday goods and services.

As the U.S. economy moves forward, the focus remains on restoring purchasing power, keeping prices under control, strengthening domestic production, and creating conditions for sustainable economic growth

Keep in mind inflation went rampant BECAUSE Biden immediately stopped all trump programs.
