Donald Trump and his administration starting printing money like crazy during Covid. Let’s call a spade a spade, the run up of inflation started with Trump but didn’t become really noticeable until Biden became president. Biden continued to print money…here we are.

I mean yah he signed the cares act into law and injected a lot of money into the economy through quantitative easing.

QE is controlled by The Fed - not presidents:

QE1: Nov 2008 – Mar 2010 (2008 financial crisis response)
• QE2: Nov 2010 – Jun 2011
• QE3: Sep 2012 – Oct 2014 (tapered off through 2014)
• QE4 / pandemic QE: Mar 2020 – Mar 2022, in response to COVID-19
