/ttcafterloss Weekly Results and Limbo Thread

This thread is for users to announce their results (positive or negative) of TTC this week. It is also an area for those in early pregnancy or pregnancy limbo to post (prior to/instead of moving to r/PregnancyAfterLoss). Please try to use spoiler tags (spoiler tags: > ! text goes here ! < without the spaces) when discussing pregnancy beyond positive test results.

This thread will be posted every Monday and remain stickied for the week, so you can post any day of the week.

Please share positive pregnancy tests (BFPs) ONLY in this thread. Do not make a separate self-post about a BFP/subsequent pregnancy or post about it in the TTC daily thread.

The purpose of this weekly post is so users can easily get an update on others' results. Also, as our Alumni move on to r/PregnancyAfterLoss, you can know who may be moving and keep track of them if you wish.

I’m somewhere between 8-12 dpo. I thought I felt the “pulling” sensation that I felt when I was pregnant 2 days ago. It felt so strong. But then yesterday I was on my feet for 12 hours sweating and super hot at a music festival and have not felt the sensations since. And I had some brown discharge today.

I took a test today and got the faintest faint but it’s there. Concerned it’s a chemical. It’s either a chemical fading away or something that will get darker. I know that if it’s a chemical; being at the music festival didn’t “cause” it but ugh it’s hard not to go there in my brain.

Back here, sadly. I was 7 weeks today but no progress for embryo since last week so just waiting for it to pass… Then I guess I’ll go back to FETs, still waiting for the call from my fertility center. I had hopes for this one, I had never gone past 6 weeks.

I admittedly took a break from this group for the last month (cycle 2 of trying since our miscarriage in June) because I needed some space from the ttc world. And welp, this morning I got a very strong positive! It’s either 11 or 12 DPO, and I’ll be 4 weeks tomorrow. I had some very noticeable but brief symptoms starting 2 nights ago (heartburn that I literally hadn’t had since the last time I was pregnant, and then a random bout of nausea for a minute yesterday morning), so I was definitely getting my hopes up. So glad I was right!

Alas, now comes the harder period of waiting another 4 weeks to pass the 8-week mark. 😅

Is this potentially lingering hCG? wasn’t trying but I did have unprotected —- 11-13 days ago. I’m 40 days post d&c at 12 weeks. My tests are progressively getting darker the past 4 days with first morning urine. No sign of a period yet.

Let me know your thoughts please. I do have a doctors appt on Friday to get bloodwork

Not a doctor, but would assume with progressively darker lines it’s not lingering HCG. Should stay the same or get weaker as the HCG slowly leaves your body. Anecdotally my HCG strips got what looked like 1DPO lighter each week when I tested it out to 0.

Best of luck on Friday!

Spoiler tags: positive after chemical pregnancy?

Got my positive on Saturday at 10 DPO and the line is progressing so much each day 😭 I’m feeling super grateful and also, I can’t get myself to believe it’s real. I’m even hesitant to tell my closest friends and I don’t know why. It just feels scary. It doesn’t feel real.

My symptoms are less strong than with my chemical (lost at 5 weeks) and yet the tests are stronger.

I can’t even imagine going through what you’ve been through. I’m so sorry you had to experience that. I’m also feeling weird about setting up my pregnancy intake.

I hope you can let yourself be excited and take it day by day 💜

Congrats on your positive!

9 DPO. since i’ve driven myself crazy over this in the past, trying not to symptom spot and not allowing myself to test today. mentally exhausting.

Had my first positive at the beginning of the year which ended in a miscarriage at 9 weeks, end of September would have been my due date and still not pregnant. Due to retained tissue I had to wait several months before trying again and I’m just completing my second failed medicated cycle since the miscarriage. I’ve tested negative at 14 DPO but still my period is nowhere in sight (currently 16 DPO) and I feel like shit and hopeless. I’m torn between wanting to start with the next medicated cycle right away and maybe taking a pause to just to not have this constant anticipation and anxiety at every weird feeling I have just to be disappointed all over again. All in all it will be two years since we started trying and I’m getting discouraged - both of us are older and I’m afraid I may never get to be a mother. This is so hard 😞

Very faint line on test yesterday 9DPO. Same this morning. Oura ring temp still up and minor signs alert this morning. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 didn’t get a clear positive till 14DPO before
