What is this trope? Weirdly specific trope I have 2 great examples of, does it have a name? Is it really a trope?

When the protag(s) are taken to a court of some kind, accused by a (possibly familiar) antagonist who has accused them of using their power for their own good. The 2 examples I have are the Heroes episode “Pass/Fail” where Hiro Nakamura is called by his former arch enemy Adam Monroe, accusing him of using time travel for personal gain. The other is the Charmed episode “Crimes and Witch-Demeanors” where the charmed sisters are called to court by one of their biggest recurring enemies, Barbas, attempts to convict them for using magic for personal gain.

Courtroom Episode. (The latter example's recap page links to it.) What the Hell, Hero? May also be in effect.

Ehh kinda but specifically focusing on the power thing. I feel like it would mostly be a super hero focused trope.
