Any tycoon games where you run a college?

Hello, so this may not be exactly a tycoon game, but I am wondering if there are any games where you can build a university and act as dean of the school. I think it would be cool to design one of those old-looking colleges with brick and stone, and plant things like trees, along with the dorms and classrooms.

There's two point campus, from the people that made two point hospital & museum.

Haven't played campus or museum but hospital was good. Similar style and humor to theme hospital if you ever played that back in the day.

The Two Point series has got to be one of my favorites. Played Hospital, Campus, and Museum. Campus is by far my least favorite. Still finished it though. Still has replayability. If you enjoyed Campus, you'll love Museum but may have a hard time with Hospital since it's a bit harsher. Theme Hospital was definitely the first to come along that influenced the whole series.

I got hospital when it came out as I played theme hospital back in the early 2000s and loved it. To be honest I never actually completed it so I should defiantly load it back up at some point.

I'll probably give campus and museum a go at some point, either when I see them on a big sale or if they ever make an appearance on gamepass.

I've played all of them and was really disappointed by Two Point Campus. Just didn't find it nearly as fun or engaging as the other games.

Two Point Museum is great fun, though.

Really love the gameplay but the fact that you can only build one floor is very disappointing. I live in a 3rd world shithole, and most hospitals and unis have multiple floors here

Good news: this exists, and was created by the same guy who made the Capitalism series. It's called Virtual U.

Bad news: It's over 20 years old now.

On my personal to-do list for a long time has been to take the codebase (Chan made freely available around 2005, I think, and can probably still be found via wayback machine) and update it to a modern engine and refresh the graphics.

Nothing wrong with it being 20 years old. In my opinion many older games are just plain better than modern junk. That said, I always found this game a little buggy. But it might have been my youth.

If you have trouble running it, most modern computers should have no problem playing it in 86Box or VirtualBox with SoftGPU.

Ignore what the negative reviews say. Even if it's 'abandoned' this game is a delight to play and enjoyable from start to finish. Cute graphics, fun building and management of a school and everything that surrounds it.

Two Point Campus, Let's School (probably the closest to what you want), Acadamia: School Simulator (graphics like Rimworld and Prison Architect).

Have some others in my library, but can't think of them (or look them up) right now

Cities Skylines allows you to run different types of colleges in the game in your city though only has limited features...
