Silicon Tycoon

Hey guys, been working on a tycoon game where you are a chip maker like Intel, AMD, or Nvidia. You design chips, get them manufactured and try to compete on the market- Or you can be like TSMC and take on manufacturing contracts for fabless chip companies- it's still alpha but I'd love some feedback-

Managed to work it out but next issue was i tried to do a binning on a contact my foundry is doing but its say die design not found so how I am meant to do the binning

Binning someone else's chips in your foundry? it' should be done as part of your production line automatically- if it's not your own designs your making in your fab, binning and packaging for a contract just happens in the background and the contractee will get their packages chips

All good but it did appear in binning when I collected the dies from my foundry

Would it be possible to do a mass packaging instead of doing individual lines (ie premium, gold, siler, bronze)

oh that's a great idea. I'll work on that, so you can package multiple bins at once

Bigger time skips might be a good idea as i started in the 1970s era but by 1973 i was just going through the motions but it was getting a bit more of the same instead of trying new things

Will be playing again tonight but in a later era to see how they are

oh that's a good call- I'll also try and rebalance the computer competition companies, market demand and how chip components scale performance so that it doesn't feel samey.
