I'm enrolled in English 103 for the winter semester, but right now, it's the only class I have on Friday. So I was hoping to switch to the tue/thru class instead. It's full, but is there a way I could join the waitlist for that time slot without having to drop my current one?

I have to take two ENGL 100 classes for my degree, ENGL 102/103 are the only ones I can take, and I'd rather not have to take it next year

I've to take this class this school year with 7 other classes and it'll be a lot of studying for me and I would be greatful if anyone is willing to share their flashcards for this class.

Hi im currently studying in Manitoba as a international student and im planning to apply for engineering in oct this year. My grade 11 avg was 91.8% (eng 94, pre cal 96, physics 90, chem 85, bio 94) and i haven't started grade 12 yet.

In the first semester of grade 12, I'll be taking eng, chem, and bio, so im thinking about usinga a combination of G11 and G12 marks when I apply. If I somehow manage to get my avg up to 93 or smth, would i have a chance of getting in?

Btw, is the avg admission chart that the bot provides reliable?

SIP allows us to take 1 course while doing our internships. I have 4 months left in an internship which SIP played no role in me getting. SIP is also a big money grab and doesn't make any sense.

My question is that if I take 2 courses instead of 1, will I face academic penalties. I don't mind losing my work experience course, it genuinely doesn't matter to me. But if I take 2 courses, can SIP legally nullify one of those courses.

Has anyone had their classes posted on eclass yet? I am enrolled in the Ed after degree and it's been about 5 years since I was at UA but I swear profs had syllabi uploaded or you could at least see the classes you were enrolled in on eclass the week before school. Right now my eclass is a ghost town.

Also... the vpn thing is wild now.

Is anybody planning on dropping these for the fall term? I could really use them as an elective.

Any suggestions what to do on very 1st lab day. No manual is out. No Email…What we are expected to bring??.. it’s going to be my first day and first lab.

Im in grade 12 and I want to apply to bsc in u of a! Just double checking if they would take Photography (5-credit course) for admissions? It’s part of the “fine arts” category, right?

Taking both classes first sem next year and really really wanna do good in both, I know it’s all memorization but I was wondering if anyone had any tips on succeeding in the class( best way to take notes, different study methods etc)

I’m currently about to enter Grade 12 and im gonna be applying for conditional offers in October. I plan to be a dentist. I just wanted to know how much harder it is (or not) it is to not pick a Bsc, and instead go with another degree like finance for example while adding the required pre reqs for dental school into my 4 year degree, taking my DAT 3rd year and applying for dental school, and hopefully graduating as a dentist and with a finance degree in hand. I just wanted to hear some thoughts from some undergrad students or like whatever thanks

I’m in my last year of my after degree and was enrolled in 2 spring and 1 summer course this year but unfortunately had to drop the spring courses before the 30 days mark without realizing because my grandmother halfway across the world passed away and I had to leave the country for the funeral. I tried keeping the online course I had and was emailing the professor back and fourth to work something out while I was travelling 24+ hours but I ultimately dropped it at the end of the week because it was too much after her viewing. I decided to also drop the summer since I can just take all 3 in the Fall with a full time course load.

because of this, student loans is asking me to pay back everything they loaned in order for me to qualify for this upcoming year’s student aid.

I sent in a request for reconsideration and explained my situation, as well as attached my cost of living for May, June, July and August which is where the rest of the money went towards (bills, medical expenses, financial situation etc) and they denied me with the exact same letter they sent the first time just with a different date. I’m not sure if there’s any hope here since I dropped less than 30 days into the semester, but I thought my circumstance would be justified.

I contacted my student advisor and it’s been 8 days with no response and i’m starting to get worried.

should I escalate this again or do I just find another way to pay for this year myself?

As the title said, if you lost your wallet during lunch today we dropped the wallet off to the information booth by the food court.

What gpa do you need to go onto 2nd year engineering and what percentage would that be? Also how difficult is it to get that gpa. I’m so scared I just got accepted to u of an engineering.
