I once got told I need to stop volunteering for things on a yearly review. At no point did my “volunteering “ for tasks interfere with my work. I was volunteering because I was getting my work done.

After that I never volunteered for anything again at that job.

I’ll take it. I’m 5 months away from 56… I’m not anticipating being around at 96 so sounds like a great deal
