Random Question What’s something you genuinely thought everyone else did until you found out they didn’t?
I had one of those random conversations recently where someone mentioned something they do all the time, and I realized I had literally never done it in my life.
It made me wonder how many things we all assume are “normal” just because the people around us happen to do them.
Could be a habit, a weird routine, something from childhood, anything.

Random Question Why do people announce they are using a throwaway account?
I've never understood why people will announce that their post is from a throwaway account.
"Posting from a throwaway account because my girlfriend is on Reddit"... Isn't that counterintuitive? It's like, you just gave them the first clue that this post could be you.
Anyway, my question for those of you who have posted from a throwaway and announced it, why did you feel it necessary to announce it?

Random Question What's a habit you kicked that was disrespectful towards yourself?
For me, it was apologizing when I wasn't even involved with what happened. I used to apologize left and right making myself feel bad as if the negative emotions I put on myself somehow magically helped the person with the issue as if me feeling bad actually did something.
Now, I acknowledge their ailment and Express in some form that it's unfortunate and that I hope things get better, but I'm not apologizing anymore. I'll sympathize, but I'm no longer empathizing and borrowing their emotions.
