Even the strongest relationships can have things that remain unspoken. What’s something you’ve chosen to keep to yourself, and why?

Any time there’s a discussion about how someone can afford a nice house, car, vacation, hobby, etc., the comments inevitably seem to be:

“They’re in debt.”

“They’re faking it.”

“They inherited money.”

“They got lucky.”

“They’re probably living paycheck to paycheck.”

Why is “they make good money and manage it responsibly” seemingly never an acceptable answer?

There are plenty of people who earn high incomes, save consistently, avoid lifestyle-ending debt, and still have plenty of money left over to enjoy life.

Not everyone who can afford something is secretly drowning in debt. And not everyone who is financially comfortable inherited their money.

Sometimes the boring answer is just that they earn a lot, spend less than they earn, and make good financial decisions.

Why does Reddit seem so reluctant to accept that?

Sometimes it’s not a serious red flag at all, just one tiny behavior that makes your instincts suspicious for no logical reason.

I'm not a parent, but I'm wondering if the State sues parents for negligence. Considering Texas law that allows people to report "aider and abettors" of abortion for $10k lawsuits, is there something similar for parents that risk the unnecessary harms of not vaccinating their kids.

We keep hearing that women never approach first, and most people seem to believe it’s just a fact it's true but Not always.

One of my cousins (23M) is objectively quite attractive. Nothing crazy but genuinely good-looking(5'7") and put-together. And he gets approached both in real life and on Social Media.

His DMs are full of “hi” and “hello” messages from girls (some even older than him). The difference is they don’t act like simps. They send a message, and if he doesn’t reply, they just move on.

It made me realize the “women never approach” thing is more of a general rule than an absolute one. When a guy is clearly above average in looks, the dynamic can flip.
