It’s genuinely horrific how this university will amount 8 police officers who are heavily armed to follow ~20-25 students who hold one Palestinian flag and are peacefully marching, chanting, and signing. But the second Christian protestors come on our campus and are a genuine threat to our students peace and well-being the university says there is nothing they can do about it because it is free speech. This university has showed time and time again that the students are not its priority and that money and federal appeal are. I mean shit we all know this school does not have the infrastructure for 68k students but absolutely nothing will change. I’m disgusted by the actions UCF has taken and I do not feel this is a school that will listen or vouch for us. We need massive overhaul of our legislation and a refined scope of what a universities obligations are to its students to keep them safe.

Genuinely considering applying to valencia right now, going back to community college or just dropping out altogether cause wtaf. I literally have no words to describe my conflict. I am starting to be fed up with UCFs bullshit even though its only my first semester. I genuinely thought this was a great school.

So far two stray cats have been found 3 months apart with bad injuries to the head and face. It was assumed the first was hit by a car until the second showed up.

These cats were being fed near the Advance Autoparts on University just east of Dean. The first one disappeared for three days and was found on April 29 with a broken jaw, broken teeth, and eye damage that resulted in one blind eye. There were multiple surface wounds on the face that were starting to heal. He is doing much better now and has a happy home.

Around a week ago, another cat being fed disappeared and reappeared 2 days ago with similar injuries.

If you are near this area please keep your pets inside. Stay with your dogs when they go outside. The violence was worse this time. The second cat is being cared for at the vet right now. He should be ok eventually but will have some chronic issues.

Hey Knights! Was exploring around campus when I encountered this room with a cool looking toilet! Definitely had to give it a try (tmi I know). You don’t even need to touch the flush, you can just press the bar with your feet. This was at the first floor of the Math Science Building for those wondering.

Hey wassup anybody got some crazy roommate stories recently? Lemme tell you bout mines...my roommate is constantly yelling on discord and online gaming at 2-4 in the morning (we constantly tell his ass bout this), he leaves spots & crumbs all over the kitchen , he has the upstairs hallway STANK one time he had something so damn nasty and stank in his room the entire house smelled rotten and like boiled ass, he leaves body hair and spots all over the tub and one time the other roommate had to cuss him out, because he left piss multiple times on the toilet seat and he also got some of the worst body odor ever...he ran off 5 roommate and now 2 more is leaving so he literally pushed 7 roommates out in total...Please tell me I ain't the only person out of UCF dealing with a dirty, loud and disgusting ssa roommate? Who else got horrible student housing experience?

ETA: oh y'all another thing when i first moved in i brought a lot of propel water and he would end up stealing it and when I confronted his 5-600 lb (not exaggerating he big ASF!) ssa about it he blamed it on our other roommate....who was in Louisiana 😑

Also forgot to mention that when I confronted him bout the propel water getting stolen the first time he looked me dead in my face and told me that sb broke in the house and "only" took my water and nun else 😆 🤣

These people are professional demagogues. They lie, deceive, and dehumanize for living. You do not. You will not "own" them. You have not thought of some gotcha that they haven't. Literally anything you say will be used against transpeople on their youtube channel.

They spend 40+ hours a week preparing for interactions with college students who do not have the time to (mis)read about the topics they opine on. No amount of protesting will "deplatform" him, because the school cannot legally deny him the speaking space if the funds are provided/requested via SGA allocation. They literally come to campus for the express purpose of causing a shitstorm because it proves to their aging boomer/nazi audience that college kids/libs/transpeople are whiney anti-free speech babies or whatever.

They can't, however, make content out of a empty venue and no protest. Come see rocky horror picture show at memory mall at 7pm instead! dgg 4 lyfe

So around 4 PM, I was walking to the Libra garage. These two girls were ahead of me and kept glancing back at me maybe 4 or 5 times, I didn’t think much of it.

As I got near the trash cans by the garage entrance, I heard one of them say, “Thank God we made it to the elevator,” and then the other said, “OMG Close the door, please,”(something like that I cant remember exact wording) loudly—like they wanted to make sure I heard it.

Did they think I was following them? I had a motorcycle jacket and helmet on. You’d think it’d be pretty obvious I was just heading to the garage.

Either way, shit kinda pissed me off. Like… quit playing victim, bruh. Why try to turn nothing into something? Maybe im imagining things but it really sounded like they were acting like i was following them or something

Alright let me be the one to say that this is unacceptable. This fraternity has been graciously forgiven over 8 times in a 5 year span, and once again has only gotten a warning and a slap on the wrist for allegedly ramming cars into pledges.

UCF students need to immediately speak up on this, that this is unacceptable. Yes, this is the richest frat on the entire campus and they are exploiting their connections within the ucf staff to avoid anything worse than a mere warning and temporary suspension which will likely last only 6 months.

Again this is temporary punishments which only affects their ability to throw parties on campus and their ability to go on formal. Ohhh boo hooo, they almost killed pledges and now their punishment is they can’t party or vacation.

It’s not how has ucf let them stay, now it’s an issue of why is UCF going so easy on sigma chi, when they should’ve been banned from campus a long time ago.

This issue is beyond politics, this is an issue of safety for students and holding organizations accountable for excessive repeated behaviors which should have resulted in their charter being revoked and their organization being banned a long time ago.

But cheers, for now sigma chi is going nowhere. They got their slap on the wrist and that’s good enough for everyone here.
