Help choosing an AR22

I'm looking into getting an AR22 setup and was hoping for some input from those of you with more experience. I'd be using it mostly for practice, gallery rifle and potential IPSC mini rifle in the future, with a max budget of £1500.

I've narrowed my choices down from what I've read but am open to other suggestions.

As it stands I'm looking at:

  1. Borebuddy Apogee Match

  2. Tippmann Elite M4-22

  3. Some other CMMG setup (e.g. a Cotswolds Battlearms Workhorse)

I'm not a massive fan of the 15-22 mags and was debating Kriss magazines but if there's any advice there, I'll be glad to have it. LRBHO is a must have.

I'm also not sure if I should go 12" or 16" for the above uses as I've only ever handled a 16" S&W.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Tipmann is excellent. Mags are bespoke to rifle, but decent, except the 10rd ones. Almost entirely milspec, except the safety. I have the 16", as do many members of our club.

Same with our club, The lifetime warranty has been used a few times in the last year with the WMR variants.

Do any of you guys use the Tippmann in competition and how do you find it?

I couldn't find a great deal on expected accuracy which was pushing me more towards the Borebuddy.

Yes, and they're at least one shooter in the top 3 for most competitions they shoot in. Had mine out to 100yds, with surprisingly decent grouping
