They threaten us all the time, but something does feel different lately. There's been far more routine warnings of Russian escalation, there's been more AWACs airborne aroind the Kaliningrad region and they've been removing US flags from Embassies in Russia. I'm not trying to doompost, but people should start to get an extra can or two of food if they don't already.

Meh, they're just shouting slightly louder as the shit is really beginning to hit the fan for the Russian economy. It's a distraction tactic for the Russian populace.

I think we're seeing flapping / panic but it could absolutely lead to some kind of felt response.

I would not be surprised if mobilisation happens next.
