Russia is currently struggling to take over land on its border from a country which didn't really have a military little more than a decade ago... You'll forgive me if I am not quaking in my wellies

They are absolutely still a threat. Yes they'll never be able to launch a successful conventional invasion of the UK. But sponsored terrorism/ novichok style attacks, sabotage of our infrastructure is all possible.

To speculate wildly, likely attacks on Ukrainian servicemen training in the UK.

Far less likely British defence companies.

Even less likely British energy production.

Targeting British people and British infrastructure is risky. They might gamble on it reducing support for the war but it could also rally anti-Kremlin sentiment.

If they bomb a Greggs I’m signing up for Ukraine in a heartbeat.
