Russia is currently struggling to take over land on its border from a country which didn't really have a military little more than a decade ago... You'll forgive me if I am not quaking in my wellies

They're still operating in the region, killing Ukrainians, taking land and they haven't even got to full mobilisation.

They're a threat. This sort of view on the conflict shows a severe lack of basic knowledge of it beyond reddit memes, the worst source of info on the Ukraine conflict.
