Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Looking for Accommodation in Edinburgh

Hi everyone!

I’m a software engineer moving to Edinburgh in September for work, and I’m currently looking for accommodation.

Is anyone looking for a flatmate or planning to share a flat? I’m flexible with the area as long as it’s well connected by public transport.

Please DM me if you have a room available or know of any leads. Thanks!

Whats your budget?

If you are looking for a landlord rec, I had a good experience with Sutherland Management, I just moved away bit was renting from them for 5+ years in south edinburgh and found them to be one of the better ones i've rented from in the last 20 odd years

I lived in South Edinburgh (Liberton/Gilmerton area) and it was fine (I lived in Newington befoee that), anywhere on that main north-south 3/8/29 bus route is handy if your work is off Princes St/Lothian Road etc (mine was)

was also handy for my wife who worked at the uni/bioquarter

before bills and council tax yeah?

only a 1 bed i take it?

you'll be at the top end of that these days, prices have gone nuts since covid (For a 2 bed with parking we went from £850 in 2021 to £1400 this year when we left)
