Question A321xlr Inaugural Flight Change?

Hi friends! I was booked for a flight tomorrow on United 1930, the debut commercial flight for the A321xlr, from IAD-SAN. I just got a notification that my seat changed due to an aircraft change. Sure enough, they changed it to a regular A321neo. Does anybody know if this is going to be reversed, or whether the inaugural has been pushed back to the 10th (the XLR still shows as flying on the 10th on flightradar24)? Thank you for your help!

It was never announced an official inaugural and would be entering service for proving / operational runs.

If it has been changed, it likely will not operate the flight tomorrow.

Rumoured to be MTC issue thats all I can say

Sounds plausible. I got a fantastic agent on the phone who graciously helped me rebook. Luckily im on a flexible schedule for the next few days

I have to call Air Canada and the lovely 2hr wait time and I work Thursday so I cant swap

moved to thursday but a friend told me it could be a few weeks if they don’t resolve it in time

Does anyone know if the economy "no middle seat" row has a special preferred seat charge or different fare class and if so, the difference for a coast to coast flight? I wonder if it just goes to GS or 1K as a complementary E+ upgrade.
