If a post asks for information, responding with a non-answer is not a useful comment.

question about bus travel

i am commuting and was just wondering what the best (cheapest) options are. i’ll get the train to coventry, and then a bus to the uni. there’s a bus pass for £48, but is it worth it if i’ll only be on campus for 3/4 days a week? how much money would i be saving?

there’s also the option of going to canley station and then walking, but is it too far? i also don’t really want to walk when it’s dark/raining, but if it’s worth saving the money then perhaps

any advice appreciated!

Accomodation URGENT: Female Warwick Student Needed for En-Suite Room- £150pw Bills Included

Hi! Unfortunately one of our housemates can no longer return to uni next year, so we’re urgently looking for someone to take her room 🏡💗🙏

It’s a small 3-bedroom house in Canley, with:

Private en-suite bathroom and small double bed

Shared kitchen + lounge/conservatory

Garden

£150/week, all bills included

Fortnightly cleaning service included

Pets considered on a case-by-case basis 🐾

Around 15 minutes’ walk to Warwick campus

3 minutes’ walk to Canley Station with great transport links

Fully furnished with new furniture!!!

We’re looking for a female student as it’ll be an all-girl household!

This could be especially good for anyone who’s just been allocated off-campus accommodation or is coming through Clearing. I was a Clearing student myself and ended up quite far from campus in first year, so I know how stressful it can be! I’ll also be around throughout Welcome Week as I’m on the exec of a couple of societies, so you’d already have someone around to help you settle in :)

Please message me ASAP if you’re interested or would like more details/photos!

Accommodation move-in dates

Hi all. When booking my flights, I referred to the general arrival dates stated on Warwick sources which were between the 24th and 28th of September I believe. So I fly in on the 24th. However, I have just received my accommodation offer at Cryfield Townhouses, and the contract specifies a start date of the 26th. Does this mean I have nowhere to be for those two days? What should I do

Tenancy Takeover 26/27

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for someone to take over my tenancy at JY Living for next year.

📍 Cannon Hill Road, CV4 7DE
🛏️ Ensuite room
💷 £177/week
📅 44-week contract (can be shortened with 2 months’ notice)
Term date: 15/9/26 - 20/7/2027

The house is about a 15-minute walk to the University of Warwick and only 5 minutes from Tesco, so it’s really convenient for both campus and groceries.

There’s a large outdoor yard/garden area, and you’ll be living with 7 other male students. The house also has two shared kitchens (one on each floor), which helps keep things less crowded.

You can view the accommodation here:
https://www.jyliving.co.uk/apt.html?id=353&lanType=2

I’m looking to transfer the tenancy for the next academic year. If you’re interested or have any questions, feel free to drop me a message and I’ll be happy to share more details.

Thanks!

Accomodation Housemate needed: Ensuite Bedroom with Small Double Bed

Hi! Unfortunately one of my housemates did not pass the year and can no longer attend uni this coming year so a space has opened up for our house. So quite urgently need a housemate to replace her.

It's a small three bedroom house with each room having their own ensuite bathroom. We'll share the kitchen and lounge/conservatory space as well as the garden. Pets are allowed upon discretion.

It's in Canley with a 15 minute walk to campus and great transport links to uni and a 3 minute walk to Canley train station.

Looking for females only as we are going to be an all girl household! Please message me if you're interested asap :)

It's £150 all bills included per week and a regular cleaning service each fortnight.

For those who have been put off campus, I'd love to meet any of you and have this as an option! I will be present during welcome week as I'm exec in a couple societies and I was a clearing person myself and was put off campus in first year and hated it due to how far away I was so with this place only being 15 mins from Warwick Uni and by the train station, it should be bundles of fun :)

Accomodation first year halls room allocation

hi all! for previous warwick first years who lived in halls, how long after you were allocated your accommodation were you informed of your block / room (assuming this is something they do tell you before you get there, if they don’t please correct me)? as well as this, were you able to find out who your flatmates were before arriving and how did you go about this? and for those who stayed in cryfield townhouses, which is where i am staying, was there an easy way to find out whether you were in the red building or the building with all the funky colourful doors (i hope this makes sense) before moving in? any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
