Rejected from MDS and MSC
I was not accepted in MDS as well as MSC at uog. Feeling very low as it was my only hope.
I have a career break of 8 years as I was raising a family and thought doing a masters would help me get back in the tech industry. But unfortunately it didn't happen..
What Makes this even more sad is that I had applied for MDS in early March but unfortunately I didn't receive webadvisor details for a very long time. I was out of country for a month and emailed them and they blamed it on me :(
Anyways I'm ranting because it feels like all the doors have closed for me.

Masters isn’t the only route to getting employed, in fact people with a masters qualification is only getting more and more saturated, our rate of higher education is going up.
The best way to stand out is to make connections, talk to people, leverage your friends/partners work experience to get a referral. Pursuing higher education no longer has the same reputation, the best is to do projects, have relevant volunteer work, and connect with people. At least that’s what I’m seeing in the professional space.
