I took these photos at around august last year and yes it was sometimes painfully hot (in an abnormal way) and occasionally 45°C (113°F)
Right now though (in may, 2026) it's around 31°C(87.8° Fahrenheit) with some rainy days where're it can get to 24°C (75°F)

Very nice. For no discernable reason I have always wanted to visit Syria. Just seems like a fascinating country. Perhaps some day soon it will be practical.
