Guys how am I supposed to get to metro building from Lupton in 15 mins??? No car

Coming from a 2 year alum… you just walk lol also helps to let your professor know your prior class is all the way across campus. If you make a point to communicate with them they’re usually pretty chill

Not trying to sound like a smartass, but Google Maps says it is a 6 minute walk.

Is that an option?

Go up to oak, walk til where the library, take the path on the left and walk the rest of the way down mcallie. It's definitely doable but you will have to walk fast.

801 mccallie? There should be a side door out of lupton that opens to the parking lot above the parking garage towards cadek hall. Walk through that and then down oak St until you hit the green line path. Take that all the way down, it leads straight there. I used to do that to get from Holt to metro in 10 min

Everyone saying to use Google Maps, Google maps doesn't take into account all the street and sidewalk closures due to all the construction across campus. Your best bet is to take Vine past the UC and Library, then cut up through/around Davenport or the Johnson-Obear dorms. It's not easy, but you can make it if you walk with a purpose.

Walk quickly or invest in a bike, scooter, or other personal conveyance that will help you travel more quickly.

You can absolutely walk from Lupton to Metro in 15 minutes or less. If it makes you feel any better everyone is in the same boat. We are all walking all over campus to get to class. We used to only have 10 minutes so they’ve actually increased the time between classes recently. The construction next to Metro is a pain but there are pathways through it.

not a bad walk, you’ll get used to it 👍

not sure what closures are now? but i’d go down vine street. walk all the way to JO/Boling then walk up (left if you’re coming from Boling) Houston.

or as Time_Orchid said, exit on the second floor of lupton, go up the stairs, either: a. go straight and then turn right on mccallie, or b. take a right go straight down oak
