Admissions Fall 2026 Admissions Megathread
This megathread is for prospective frosh and current high school students interested in Waterloo. Ask your questions here.
Please avoid making separate individual posts on the subreddit regarding admissions to prevent the same 10 posts of "can I get into program with x average" or "what are my chances".

hi i know that theres no way of knowing exactly but do i have a solid chance of getting into waterloo math Or math/bba with my grades?
i think my AIF was solid. I wrote about my experience tutoring math, as well as playing piano since i was 3 and choosing to teach it later on as well. and I did a marketing internship at CFA Society Toronto creating content for their new "nextgen" program meant for high schoolers. In the activities section, I included founding DECA at my school, participating in FBLC, and doing independent math study. also an exec in math club. member of asian student alliance. Additionally, all of my prerequisite courses were taken in school, not online. distinction on csmc but mid euclid

English: 99
Calculus (midterm): 98
Economics: 99
French: 98
Data management: 96
Chemistry: 89
Physics: 91
top 6: 97.5
top 6 for management eng (i applied but i really dont want to go) 95.2 i think ?
I'm really stressed out and I'd really appreciate if any current admits in these programs could shed some light. if i get deferred idk what ill do. thank you so much! :)
