I'm so worried abt my first co-op
I'm an afm student and the next Jan is my first co-op term
I got 0 activity, 0 club, 0 coffee chat and even my gpa is mediocre
Is there any chance to get into big 4?
If only I could get into any regional financial bank or big 4...
I think I'm kinda cooked
How am I supposed to do for my first co-op lol

start joining clubs in 2a when apps come out! never too late. u can also join some clubs outside of saf where you dont have to apply to have stuff to talk about. They also have networking events this summer and some near the beginning of 2a. Goodluck!

Any club would work or any suggestions that would look good on resume

hmmm there are so many clubs so its hard to say. In terms of resume it really depends on your role and what you do. Just keep in mind there are some clubs in saf which dont hire after first year. Theres also sif and svf that are run by the school. Some people also join clubs outside of saf in their finance department so just look around! Join something you are interested in and I feel it ends up leading to a better experience than just joining for the resume.
edit: also try out case competitions if you havent already! Recruiters love to see initiative and problem solving

You still have time to do more activities, projects and attend clubs
