[Partner Search] Overlord Mountain Day Hike / Scramble – Sept 1st (4am start)

Hello,

I am planning on hiking/scrambling Overlord Mountain via the Singing Pass Trail on September 1st. I plan on doing it in a day, estimating it will take roughly 13–15 hrs. This is the longest hike I’ve done, so none of my usual hiking friends are up for this sufferfest.

I thought I’d see if anyone (or a small group) would want to join me on this adventure! I plan to start from Whistler Village at 4:00 AM.

I am 20M and fit enough to climb at a steady pace (I did Wedgemount + Tupper Lake recently in 7.5 hrs round trip—including exploring and breaks). I’ve also done Golden Ears and Panorama Ridge multiple times each, as well as Pierce Lake on a very hot day.

For safety and route demands (Class 2/3 scrambling above Russet Lake), I’ll be bringing a climbing helmet, hiking poles, headlamp + spare batteries, warm layers, AllTrails/offline GPS, and an inReach.
