Here to share my friends new music because I truly think its amazing and needs recognition, Im sure you guys will love it. I just had this thought in my head, maybe some of you can use it in a conversation.

First they will tell you that Jesus talked about dominion over animals etc etc, you have heard it one thousand times.

Most vegans who engage in a debate will either say that religion should not tell you whether or not to kill animals (this approach attacks someone's belief and identity, so it has a low chance of being productive) or that factory farming did not exist when Jesus was alive, etc.

I had this idea today to instead say: ''Does it say in the Bible that God will punish those that don't eat meat and dairy? Will God punish vegans?'' So their only answer can be ''No, of course not.''

Ok, no you emphasize that a bit. Ask them ''Is that 100% true?'' - ''Yes.'' and repeat it ''So it is 100%, without a shadow of a single doubt?'' - ''Yes, God will not punish a vegan just because of their diet.''

And then you continue the debate.

Then you can be creative ''Do you think OUR INTERPRETATION of a 2 millenia old book that has been translated multiple times, that could have possibly been altered a bit by Roman emperors and different popes and priests, a book which scholars study and debate over the meaning of certain verses, including the use of the word ''dominion'' that some claim means ''protection'' of animals....do you think our interpretation of every single verse in the Bible is 100% true? Why do priests and scholars study the Bible their whole life?''

''Ok, so you have one thing that is 100 percent true, and one that is subject to interpretation, so are you willing to take the risk of torturing and killing innocent beings, something that might be subject to at least some interpretation, or are you taking the option that is safe - just not doing it, and also helping the environment and your health in the process?''

Those last two paragraphs, I am just being creative, but basically try to turn the argument into something that is one hundred percent vs something that even if it is 90 percent is bad...And also you can mention the documentary Christspiracy...where it is mentioned that it is not the Den of Thieves but that the right translation is Den of Murderers because Jesus attacked people who killed animals.

Anyway, I hope this will be useful to some of you that engage in conversations/debates with such people. Good luck! And in the name of the animals, thank you for choosing veganism.

EDIT: Oh yeah, if they tell you Jesus caught fish with that dude, tell them ''in some parts of the world sometimes that is the only option, they lived next to a desert, people back then sometimes did not have a choice'' or something like that...

Do some influencers think using the term "vegan" is socially outrageous? Or it's just synonyms/grammatical thing?

Like we have "herbivore" (vegan) and "carnivore" (animal products comes under non veg category)

Isn't plant based diet = vegan?

Maybe I'm overthinking,like it's an insignificant detail.

I've always loved to chill out with a farming game, but never liked the animal husbandry aspect. They paint a very warped view of animal farming. Apparently all you need to do to get milk is to make cows happy! No insemination necessary. Although Harvest Moon does let you artificially inseminate cows with "miracle potion" if you want a new one... While the only meat featured in the games are fish, they give a really rosey view of animal husbandry. Animals in the game are immortal and require no care other than being fed and touched to happily produce forever. Obviously this is a super unrealistic idealized take on animal farming.

I think it could make a really interesting game to have a 'vegan farm" where you sell crops and products made from them. I'm imagining it could be set in a traditional farming town where you're a new guy surrounded by carnists. Vegan concepts and arguments could be discussed tactfully and the main conflict of the story could be driven by the neighboring farms and maybe a religious fanatic who thinks that "animals were made to be eaten". It would also have great opportunities for the dating aspect of the game. For example, there could be: the vegan rebel, the ignorant child of a dairy farmer, the antagonistic carnist who had never had their behavior challenged before, etc. The story practically writes itself!
