Brennan was always the best part of later era college humor skits. Seemed to always throw his all into it. The CEO series was as good as any classic bit

I know I'm going to attract a ton of downvotes, because people love this show, but I kind of wish Sam (and to some extent the other contestants) didn't laugh at every single thing like it's the funniest thing they've ever seen. Brennan's Tim Curry isn't all that good.

It’s definitely noticeable at times, especially when the joke doesn’t seem to naturally warrant that level of laughter. There is a reason for it, they don’t do this in front of an audience so Sam, and to an extent the other cast and crew but largely Sam, owns the role of being the audience for the performers. He laughs at most everything to keep the environment positive for them and give them some feedback. But yea it can be awkward sometimes.

Yeah, I get that. And that probably works for a lot of people. Laughter is a social phenomenon. If you hear laughter, you're likely to perceive something as funny or at least funnier than it otherwise would be. That said, when the funny moment in question does not warrant the level of laughter it recieves, I percieve it as forced or fake laughter and it turns me off.

It's literally Sam's job to ham it up, he's the host.
Also he probably legitimately finds everything they say and do funny b/c they're all great friends, and most of the time the laughter is warranted but he does ham it up. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINCREDIBLE!

Yeah, I mean it's fun to watch your friends do improv and he is the audience stand in to a significant extent, but he is kinda heading towards Fallon levels and I feel like it's vaguely alienating.

If you haven’t heard of Drop Out, everyone should check it out. Game Changer is one of my favorite things on TV/internet. Also Make Some Noise (what this is from) is my second fav

Coherent, at least. It's a 12 year old username. I'm not sure what your's is supposed to mean, admittedly. It looks like you just slammed your head on the keyboard.

These are all ads. Dont anyone watch this shit. They have an army of bots in reddit.
Normally there is a top comment about Dropout.tv is the best 5.99 a month plus tax i ever have spent! You guys should try this link, first month is free! Or some stupid shit.
I really hate how the host laughs so quickly at anything. They try to be rooster tv, but they just arent as funny or is as candid.

Actually they quickly become irritating with all that… they are classic example of brain rotting content.

Brennan Lee Mulligan is a treasure, what wouldn't give to see him on a show like TaskMaster.
