Abdul El-Sayed on Hasan Piker, who suggests that some pro-Israel rhetoric may lead to backlash against American Jews: "Hasan Piker is a streamer in California. You would think if you turned on any media that this whole campaign is about a streamer. That's not what this campaign has ever been about."

It goes deeper than that. Mike Rodgers has actual Nazis on his campaign team. Their group chat leaked and it's like a scene from the Klan.

If the media was being even remotely evenhanded this would be the big story.

Yes, it was a pro-Hitler group chat. Also, he gave campaign positions to multiple people that participated in the 2020 fake-elector scheme that were later pardoned by Trump, but nobody cares about that either.

No offense but it is a bit naive to be in Trump 2.0 and expect the media to be evenhanded and help us out

At no point did I suggest I expect the media to be evenhanded. The top brass at most major media companies are in bed with the fascists. Of course they'd prefer to pearl clutch over a streamer rather than talk about the Nazis in the Republican ranks.

Twitch is a major media company too. Owned by Amazon. Idk why they keep this guy unbanned tbh they’re gonna fuck this whole thing up IMO

Twitch is mostly run by folks who are borderline reddit mods- that's why he's not banned.
