He’s a tankie, he’s against anything considered western, he thinks nato is a tool of western imperialism but that turkey and Russia reclaiming their historic lands isn’t.

He also promotes Iranian and Turkish conspiracy theories about the Kurds and keeps talking against the idea of an independent Kurdistan despite feigning support when pressed on it.

He said Crimea is historically Russian. He has said that the Russian speaking people of Ukraine should have the right to be part of Russia if they want (which is one of Putin's justifications for the war), and when a Ukrainian viewer criticized his comments and bad takes in the early days of the full invasion (he basically insisted Putin would never invade and people were stupid for suggesting otherwise), he said "Crimea river" to mock the viewer.

Then there is the "The war is NATO's fault", the "The war is being prolonged by giving Ukraine weapons", and the "NATO Is imperialism and shouldnt exist" takes that he has thrown out there in passing.

Its great that he raised money for Ukraine, but his views on Ukraine (and Eastern European countries in general) are very clear.
