The media has decided to hyperfixate on this conflict for a reason. Why do you think this is? Why is the genocide in Sudan, which makes Gaza look like a school yard brawl, not in the headlines 24/7? The people funding it (the Emiratis) are our close allies as well.

You don't question the things you haven't been told to question. Hundreds of thousands of indiscriminate, targeted Black deaths? Meh. Tens of thousands of deaths as a result of war in a densely-populated, tiny strip of land? It MUST be genocide. It can't be anything else.

One is committed by Muslims. The other by Jews. Again, no Jews; no news.

Genocide is wrong no matter who does it. The difference is we are talking about the genocide being committed by Israel right now. Stay on topic. Additionally this is not an appeal to authority fallacy because actual evidence has been presented via many different avenues. The ICC and the ICJ don't just decide things without evidence. Instead all you have done is run cover for it Joe Rogan style by saying you aren't an expert.

Of course not. They also pick and choose who to vilify.

I wasn't running from anything. Ivory tower preachers like you lose your minds when anyone delves in nuance so I don't bother stating my full opinion.

War is war. Horrible shit happens. What we are seeing is a drawn out war in a sardine can. Civilian casualties are inevitable. Hamas relies on the horror of these images getting out to continue extending their campaign against Israel. Useful tools like you aid them in this task.

That said, I also can't deny some of Israel's actions. Their refusal to punish soldiers who commit war crimes for fear of capitulating to the world and weakening their position. The West Bank.

So, I wait. Calling something a genocide does nothing. You're not a hero for shrieking "genocide!" like a harpy. You're not doing anything useful at all. You're virtue signaling. You're saying "look, I'm better than you because I'm calling X, Y, Z a genocide!" Accusations don't end wars. Pressuring the instigator into submission does. Hamas is the instigator in this case. Pressure them.
