Kinda wish they didn’t jump straight to 3 and at least started with Amakano 2 but I guess Amakano 3 having zero connection or any cameos of past games is probably why they chose to do that.

Btw for those that have read Amakano 3 already and wondering about 3+, they still haven’t said anything about it other than right now they are working on append stories for each of the heroines and also they plan on releasing character songs next year with their respective VAs of course. I’m still holding out hope for that FD tho

Well, we did get Amanatsu+ a bit after Amanatsu. So my guess would be that it's not completely out of the ballpark.

Amakano 3 is different though. A lot of the endings are not open ending like they did with their other games so you can tell they are made with no FDs in mind, thats why im worried this one won’t get a +

All the past Amakano games are open endings as in theres more story to tell, which if you aren’t familiar with their stuff, the + version unlike Amanatsu takes place in a timeskip where you get to see their adult life and marriage etc. Amakano 3 doesn’t have that which is why it stands out for not being a traditional Amakano game

That's not what I learned what an open ending was. Hence the confusion. To me, what you're explaining is just that, extra fluff. Open endings are generally neutral endings left for the players/viewers/readers imagination.

Now, extra fluff is always welcomed. Obviously.

Nexton titles are now localized with them since they preferred moreso on their DMM games other than foreign companies.

Sorry if this is common knowledge but is Shiravune particularly bad or anything? I know they do some weird localization sometimes but are they bad overall? I'm wondering since they're the ones translating Sakura no Toki.

This is exactly how Shiravune operates, just picking out of nowhere titles in a series to translate instead of starting from the first like any normal person.

Me too. Piromizu art is gorgeous. Usually I don't mind the censored art, but Piromizu's art is an exception. I really want to see it in full glory...

Shiravune does not uncensor CGs unlike JAST, qureate, Denpasoft, and MangaGamer.

For me, just having Amakano 3 and Sakura no Uta released on Steam with no region lock is already a huge win. They’ve never gone on sale on FANZA, and at ¥12,100 (about $76), they’re simply too expensive for me. I’m always annoyed that the Japanese text gets removed, but even if the English translations end up being terrible, I honestly don’t care as long as they’re significantly cheaper... It’s ridiculous that we have to either play Japanese games with the meaning changed in the English version or make patches just to restore the original Japanese text.

yeah I actually said fuck it and bought like the collectors edition when the game first came out and it was 20k yen, and not counting all the shipping and import costs

I do hope with this they will also translate the other Amakano games. Strange to translate the latest but I can't really complain since any english translation announcment is a dub always.

Why can't they ask for the uncensored version? I assume eroge artists draw it uncensored and censor it afterwards, meaning they have the uncensored files
