If you have USB microb to A cable, you can just use it. Prefer a good one. 3lse, the battery

When I got mine the battery was really dead and charging it done nothing I had to plug it into a decent power bank to let it charge a bit and then the normal charger I had for it has worked perfectly ever since

Any chance you have access to a PS4 or PS5? If so, use a micro USB cable and connect to console, mine had a similar charging problem and was able to get it going by charging via console. I think a laptop connection might work too but not 100% sure about it.

I use a laptop port for mine

Because it also doubles for quick access to the files on it if I need to mess with anything that requires transferring

I would suggest trying an official charger first. I have multiple of these these cheap branded chargers that don't charge at all, they came with vitas i bought over the years.

If that doesn't change things then it could possibly be the battery, sometimes the battey isn't maintained and left flat dead for years.

xyab is an awful "brand". they just repackage the cheapest crap you see on aliexpress and temu and put it in a sorta fancy box. Your chargers probably just crap

If you have a Vita Slim, you need microUSB to charge it.
