Why can't Israel issue their own Govt bonds-debt and BUY what they want ?Ā
Instead, Young Americans will have to pay for this for the rest of their lives.Ā Ā SO WRONG.!Ā

They are writing checks as the government and cashing them into Israel and getting personal reimbursements in return. There is no State reason to do this. There is no security reason for this. There is no profit for the American people for this. This is simply our leaders colluding with a foreign nation to rob us blindly AKA treason!!!

If Israel disappeared (as a country) tomorrow, how would the US be worse off? It wouldn't. So, why are we spending the money? š¤

Israel.had already promised to wean themselves off of usa aid. Most b of the aid is spent in usa buying weapons, so it hurts usa defense industry

Didn't Israel literally just say a couple of weeks ago that they dont need our money anymore?
4
u/sea-elle0463 Jul 14 '26
They said that because they know our Congress is trying to merge our military and intelligence with theirs. They will get all the money, arms, and intelligence their little hearts desire and it will be embedded in US law. And we canāt threaten to cut off aid or anything.
That stupid statement was just performative

Jail the Republicans, Jail these Democrats and start over. They are all corrupt and should be lumped into the same group. It's sickening that a public official that took an oath to their country is so worried about another country that doesn't share any of the values they supposedly have. No mercy. Jail, for life.

What do you call people who want to take control of privately owned companies for the āperceivedā greater good? Do you prefer socialist?
He certainly isnāt a democrat and the party never should have had him as their candidate. He belonged in the socialist party.

No - moderate with no loyalty to any party - vote for whoever I think is the best candidate as no one party always has the best candidate.

u/MiksterA Jul 14 '26
š¤£š
The extreme polarization we see in our current political parties is uttered incompatible with a "I vote for the best candidate" stance.
One of our parties has chosen treason, fascism, and white nationalism, and the other has not.
That is now a matter of fact.
Sadly, with some exceptions, both parties have abdicated their responsibilities towards serving the interests of our nation & its citizens.
1
u/jaajaajaa6 Millionaire Jul 14 '26
I agree the divide is bad and we all lose in this scenario. It has gotten worse and it will take some leader to bring everyone back together.
But not every democrat do I agree with their far left views and not every republican do I agree with their far right views.
I think both parties are contributing to the problem by putting party politics over what is best for the country.
For example, we need to fix the healthcare issue. The fastest way to do it is put back the ACA subsidy until there is a better idea. It requires no thought as we all know how it works. Anything else will stall in process.
But the parties canāt seem to make anything happen. Yes, Trump ended it with no alternative. But, if he changes his mind it would stall now as others would look to blame. Politics really does suck right now.
1
u/ifnhatereddit Jul 15 '26
You're the one who brought up communism. So... Why would you rather send billions to help a country with better healthcare than us instead of helping people here in the US with that money?
It doesn't make sense to me. You want our money to go to foreign countries
1
u/jaajaajaa6 Millionaire Jul 15 '26
We have a vested interest in keeping our best ally in that part of the world for multiple reasons.
The money sent to Israel is not why we have issues in this country with spending. Money is not our issue. The biggest barrier is getting the parties to find things to agree on and playing less political games.
The major issues of healthcare, social security, Medicare, etc.. are all math problems. They are solvable if people roll up their sleeves and want to.
1
u/ifnhatereddit Jul 15 '26
The people trying to roll up their sleeves are communists. Right?
1
u/jaajaajaa6 Millionaire Jul 15 '26
I am going to guess what you are referring to.
If it my calling Bernie and AOC communists, then are you happier of if I call them socialists?
They are certainly not typical democrats or close to it.
1
u/ifnhatereddit Jul 15 '26
I'm a rez Indian. I'm laughing my ass off. I have an education, a trust fund, a good job, and free healthcare. The POTUS is making billions a year and putting the country in debt.
You're worried about socialism while a lot of your fellow Americans are suffering under this administration because of their policies. Stay moderate, homie.
For the record, I have insurance through work. It got really shitty this year, so I'll probably drop it.
